As not only an adoption professional, but also an adoptive mother,
I feel my experience of "sitting on both sides of the desk" is valuable in working with
adoptive families.
I can understand your joys and happiness, as well as your frustrations and pain.
I have written home studies (pre-placement reports) and post-placement reports for domestic
(United States) and international adoptions (Vietnam, Russia, China, Guatemala, Ukraine,
Ethiopia, Liberia, Kazakhstan, Phillippines).
I have also assisted birth parents with their adoption plan. I am sensitive to their needs
at this often confusing and difficult period in their lives. I have assisted many women by
providing counsel, background summarys, and relinquishment services.
I hope to answer a few of your questions at this time, but welcome the opportunity to talk to
